‘Pusswedilla’ for Dinner Theatre

The Thomian Society of Colombo will present their Dinner Theatre at 7.45 pm on Friday, July 30 at the Ballroom of the Ceylon Continental Hotel which will allow one to enjoy the most amount of fun, joy and relaxation.

The Pusswedilla franchise has been around since 2007 and has emerged the most popular political satire with the largest fan base. Director, Feroze Kamardeen, has written a completely new theatrical production for the Thomian Society of Colombo and has obtained Censor Board approval for the timely material.

The cast of fourteen characters in the play titled: “Hon. Pusswedilla, the 37th Amendment” will give you an unprecedented treat for your eyes and ears. No one who would want a great evening’s relaxation would want to be left out nor miss out on what would distinctly be the most glamorous and humorous event of the year with the added delight of a scrumptious 5-course sit-down dinner, inclusive of a bottle of Chivas Regal and a bottle of Red Wine provided for every table of ten. There will be a guest performance by the De Lanerolle Brothers and light music to fill the air during dinner. All this and more for just Rs 3500/- per head.

The entrance ticket would entitle the holder to be a part of the draw that brings on offer ten fabulously valuable prizes. At the same time, those buying tickets will be contributing to the fund raiser that will aid the Benevolent Fund to provide scholarships to brilliant students from any of the four schools - S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia, Gurutalawa, Bandarawela and the Preparatory School in Kollupitiya.
The evening’s Master of Ceremonies will not only be the country’s No. one compere, but also the current Patron and Founder of the Thomian Society of Colombo, Vijaya Corea.
