Spectacle magnifique

By Marisa de Silva

The long wait is finally over. The six year lapse since “A Decade Together… Forever,” presented by the Peterite Chorale, which transported local audiences to a whole new realm of music, is finally over! This time around, the Chorale hopes to make their Resonance felt! Come November 21 and 22, a spectacle magnifique shall unfold before you, at the British School Auditorium.

Having replenished their troupe with some young blood, together with the return of some old timers, the Chorale has been hard at work expanding their repertoire and perfecting their sound and blend over the last few years.

Those six years have been put to very good use. Their current repertoire spans multiple genres, styles and musical eras, from contemporary hits, to classics from some of the greatest bands of all time and even spirituals!

Adding more colour to the night, Adlib - a group of boys, comprising mostly of present Chorale members, will also perform a Guest Spot at the show. Known for their accapella arrangements, they are geared to compliment the characteristic sound of the Chorale, with their unique, fresh sound.

Billed to keep your whole family entertained and dancing in the aisles! Resonance is a performance not to be missed.

Tickets for the show will be available at the British School Auditorium, from November 3 onwards. There will be limited seating, so please purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
