Joanna accepted at UC

Joanna Lindamulage an alumnus of Devi Balika and American National College Colombo was recently accepted to University of Cincinnati (www.uc.edu) with its top international "Global" scholarship.

Joanna plans to enter this fall as a transfer student to major in Chemical Engineering. Her acceptance and the awarding of the Global Scholarship were based on her high school accomplishments and excellent academic standing at American National College.

As a Chemical Engineering major it would become mandatory for Joanna to participate in UC's famed (over century year old) Cooperative EDUCATION programme getting a most comprehensive professional experience whilst being paid professional wages. According to UC, many of its graduates get eventually hired by their co-op employers.

Since 2007 University of Cincinnati has been working closely with Lanka's top independent student recruiter Priyanthi Dissanayake (www.scholarshipsforusa.com) Joanna would be Priyanthi's third student at UC. UC is one of the top 100 public universities in the US and is ranked in the top 25 public universities for research funding.
