A world of one
From an overseas reader

Extra! Extra! A solution is here,
To bridge the gap and end the fear,
Here's an answer the world will adore
The problem of racism will be no more.

Skin colour differences they may be,
But they hurt deeper than we can see,
To solve this issue there's but one way,
The world will be one big display.

Let's pick a colour – any at all,
Into a large vat of it we will fall,
Every person will be the same,
Superiority will have no claim.

People coloured in this paint,
That racism can never taint,
Our people will all be uniform,
This will be a world wide reform.

Think about it for a minute,
And in seconds you will have to admit,
The only way for everyone to be fair,
We must paint our skin and dye our hair.

Black or white no one will know,
Racism will have nothing to show,
No more inequality and unfair jobs,
And the justice that racism robs.

Once we look all like one,
Gather round for some real fun,
East and West let's take a chance,
Release our world from this sick trance.

The same houses with the same lawns,
The same lakes with the same dawns,
The same jobs with the same perks,
All the places inequality lurks.

Because of money a man rises above,
But money will not buy him love,
We'll even out the financial score,
And unlock each unfair door.

Soon people will all look the same,
To drive and dress free of shame,
But even once we look alike,
Height discrimination may strike.

If not height it could be weight,
Is prejudice just a part of fate?
To be equal is to be fair,
This earth is here for us to share.
