‘Sinasuna Adaren’ now on show

‘Sinasuna Adaren’ Eranga Senaratne’s fourth film is now being screened at Ritz Borella and Savoy 2 Wellawatte and other LFD circuit cinemas around the country.

‘Sura Yahana Gini Gani’, ‘Gini Gath Madu Samaya’ and ‘Rosa Patikki’ famed director has a star studded cast including Chathurika Peiris, Pradeep Dharmadasa, Shriyantha Mendis, Dilhani Ashokamala, Buddhika Jayaratne, Rodney Warnakula, Vijaya Jayawardena, Udayanthi Kulathunga, Sajeewa Mallimarachchi and child actress Ruchini Viranga for his latest venture.

Based on a sacrifice made for love, the story revolves around a young girl Vihangi who is faced with the bitter choice of giving up her first love for the sake of her sister’s family.

The story is set in the hill country, Nuwara Eliya where Vihangi and her sister Anuththara together with her sister’s family make a trip. There Vihangi meets Milan who falls in love with her. However the bliss of the lovers is short lived as Vihangi is presented with two choices: to follow her heart or to save her sister’s family as they are faced with financial problems.

This is when Thivanka, the son of a businessman to whom Anuththara’s husband owes money, steps forward with a proposal. He asks for Vihangi’s hand in marriage.

Scripted by Lakshman Pushpakumara, the cinematographer is Aruna Peiris and make-up and hair styles are by Kiran G. Soyza. Asela Salgadu is the art director, Stanley de Alwis is the editor, Asela Sapuarachchi is the production manager, Kapila Kumara Samarakoon and Mahesh Indika are the assistant directors. Sinasuna Aadaren is produced by Eranjan Keerthiratne and Chandani Keerthiratne on behalf of Vidun Cinema Entertainment.

Sunil Wimalaweera, Mahesh Rathsara Maddumarachchi and Dinali Senaratne have written the lyrics to which music is set by Priyanjith Wijesekara and playback done by Uresha Ravihari, Greshan Ananda, Visharada Abisheka Wimalaweera and Samanthuwa Wasam.
