Deadly new flu strain threatens Mexico, U.S.

Mexican and U.S. health officials searched today for signs of an outbreak of a new flu strain that is spreading further, after it killed up to 68 people in Mexico and infected eight in the United States.

 
US warns of more attacks from Lashkar militants

The banned Pakistani Islamist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, blamed for last year's Mumbai attacks, is planning to sow further unrest, the commander of US forces in the Middle East said.
