After O' Levels at Mercury
Obtain the ACCA professional course and the Oxford Brookes UK Hons. Degree whilst progressing with the A level studies

The Benefits of the CAT course

The CAT course does not require any entry qualification. Anyone over 16 years of age is eligible to do the course.

The CAT course takes as little as one year for completion.

On completion of CAT course students are exempted from Part I of the Professional Course of ACCA.

As the student completes all 6 subjects in Part II of ACCA he/she is eligible to apply for the Oxford Brookes University UK BSc Degree in Applied Accounting - an Academic qualification of much repute.

On completion of Part III of ACCA the student gains the prestigious qualification of the ACCA Professional course.

Thus the O Level passed out student has the unique benefit of obtaining three qualifications in a comparatively short period of three years even before he completes his A Level. No other accounting body in the world offers this triple qualification.

Fathima joined Mercury after O Level in 2004 and successfully completed the CAT course in 2005. in year 2006 she acquired Sri Lankan prize for Paper 2.6 in Part II and on completion of Part II she acquired a First class Hons degree from Oxford Brookes University UK and went on to complete Part III and become an ACCA affiliate in year 2007. From CAT course to ACCA professional course with an Hons degree in three years is an achievement par excellence.

The First Maldivian CAT student to win Sri Lankan prizes for papers T1 and T2 of the CAT Course.

Ms. Mariam Riza
An outstanding student who completed CAT course winning Sri Lankan prizes for Papers T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T8 and T10.

Ms. Chandrika Jayasooriya
The only CAT student to obtain the maximum of 100 marks for paper T1 of the CAT course.
