Richmond and Mahinda settled for a draw in their 104th Battle of the Lovers concluded at the Galle Stadium yesterday. Richmond after being bowled out for a lowly 143 had Mahinda in a spot of bother on 85 for 5 at lunch but they failed to keep up the momentum as Mahinda recovered to 146 for 7 before declaring.
It was an unbeaten knock of 55 from Denuwan Rajakaruna which enabled Mahinda recover. Richmond batting the second time was 44 for 6 when stumps were drawn. Richmond 143 (T.
