Marine expertise by Hayleys AIG

Hayleys AIG offers customers innovative insurance solutions including a suite of Marine Insurance solutions for Sri Lankan export and import businesses, the company said in a press release.
The company’s global network provides an ‘e-marine’ facility, a user-friendly web based tool with the ability to issue policies 24 -7. The ease of use not only saves time but also allows for information access at any time, Hayleys AIG said.

The knowledge of international marine insurance law and conventions, and local regulations ensure that claims are settled quickly. ‘Fast Track Marine’ is an example of this. Claims below Rs 50,000 are processed within 24 hours of receiving the claim documents and a cheque delivered within 72 hours, the company said in a press release.

Marine Loss Control Engineering (MLCE) is another service provided by the company. Experienced loss control specialists assist policyholders to reduce trade and transportation risks and minimise costly delays, by providing comprehensive loss control services. These include Proactive Loss Prevention, analyzing potential exposures and minimizing them to avoid/reduce potential losses; Reactive Loss Control, analyzing historical loss frequency and severity trends and acting to address vulnerabilities and avoid/reduce future losses, the company said.
