Ragama CC held the edge against Moors on the back of a fine knock of 125 from Indika de Saram at the end of the second days play in their Premier Tier ‘A’ encounter played at the NCC ground.

Indika’s 150 ball knock comprised 11 boundaries which saw Ragama CC end their inning on 279 from their overnight score of 237 for 7. Moors in their turn were bowled out for 206 with Nisham Mazahir making a top score of 60.

Tons by Saman Jayantha and Chamara Silva put Bloomfield in a strong position against Badureliya CC in their match played at the R. Premadasa Stadium.

Saman cracked 106 in 118 balls which had ten boundaries and a six while Chamara’s knock of 100 came in 140 balls that included seven boundaries as Bloomfield resuming from their overnight score of 223 for 6 went on to make 297.

Earlier Badureliya CC crashed to 63 with Nuwan Pradeep being the wrecker with figures of 4 for 19. Badureliya CC batting the second time with a deficit of 234 runs fared better ending on 199 for 3.
