The National Film Corporation recently celebrated the 78th birth anniversary of veteran lyricist Cyril A. Seelawimala at the cinema hall in NFC.

The celebration was held amidst a large gathering of actors and actresses and singers, who sang his beautiful poems penned by him.

On the direction of NFC Chairman Jayantha Dharmadasa the birthday celebration was organized by, T. M. Sangadasa, an advisor to the NFC.
