‘Jagan Ma’ at Elphinstone

Award winning playwright K. B. Herath's latest stage play "Jagan Ma" (Mother Universe) will go on the boards at 3.30 and 6.45 pm on August 29 (Friday) at the Elphinstone Theatre.

This drama revolves around a tragedy of those who attempt to challenge the very existence of nature. It conveys that the all men are part of nature but not the guardian or controller.

Rathna Lalani Jayakody, Sampath Tennekoon, Indika Ferdinando, Madhanie Malwatta and Lanka Bandaranayake play the key roles.

Music direction is handled by Shantha Peiris while setting by Dhananjaya Karunarathne. Costumes are by Sweenitha Perera and make up by Buddhadasa Galappalhthi. The production manager is Jude Srimal.
