Swarnavahini screens a series of films from Sri Lankan cinema every Saturday at 2 pm.
L. S. Ramachandran's black and white film 'Chandali' will be telecast on August 16 and it stars Stanley Perera, Girley Gunawardena, Jenny Winifreda, Liyoni Weerasinghe and Ruby de Mel.

Late filmmaker K. A. W. Perera's 'Wathura Karaththaya' will be screened on August 23. Joe Abeywickrema, Jayanthadas Perera, Manohari Jayatunga and Freddi Silva play in the stellar cast.
Sri Lal Priyadeva's 'Mawbima Nethnam Maranaya' will be screened on August 30 and the film stars Robin Fernando, Wijeratne Warakagoda, Geetha Kumarasinghe and Anoja Weerasinghe.

Meanwhile the channel also shows Bollywood films on every Friday at 9.30 pm. 'Kyaa Kool Hai Hum' starring Tusshar, Riteish, Ishaa Koppikar and directed by Sangeeth Sivan will be shown on August 15. WAQT directed by Vipul Amrutal Shah and staring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra will be screened on Friday August 29.
