Travelon continues with tours

With more Sri Lankans joining luxury tours within Sri Lanka, Travelon, most popular tour operator in the domestic and out-bound tourism field just completed a successful tour to Deep South recently with close collaboration with Mecry Corps and HDCC (Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce).

47 persons including families and children had a 3 night/4 day tour in the South of Sri Lanka. The tour featured some of the popular places in the South including Blow Hole, (Hummanaya) by boat, Mulgirigala, 'Giant Turtle' Night Safari at Rekawa (TCP), up-stream Walawe Eco Safari by boat, Ussangoda, Kirinda, Kataragama, Kiri Vehera, Bundala and Madunagal (Mahapellessa) hot water wells.

The night stays were at excellent properties such as Paradise Beach Cottages Tangalle, Hotel Priyankara at Tissa and Peacock Beach Hotel in Hambantota. As for out-bound tours in early July Travelon will undertake their 2nd tour to Bangkok/ Pattaya with tours to such as the world famous alcazar transvestite show, Dinner Cruise on Chao Pharaya Princes (2 hour journey with music & dancing and an International Buffet in a double decked cruise liner) and of course "Shop until you Drop" in Pratunam. The 'Night Owls' can do their routines at the Pattaya Beach, Patpong and Soi Cowboy.

A pioneering effort by Travelon the much awaited Bhutan tour will take place from July 14-20. Bhutan nick named 'The Kingdom of the Thunder Dragon' is considered an expensive destination due to the limited infrastructure facilities in the 'tourism plant'. The tour will cover Paro and Thimpu and all important site visits within the 'Himalayan Kingdom'
