Selvanayagam JP

Sunday Times journalist S.S.Selvanayagam took his oaths as Justice of the Peace for the whole Island before the Colombo Additional District Court Judge N. Yogasigamany recently.

Mr Selvanayagam completes 25 years in his journalistic career this year. He is also a Sworn Translator. He honed his ability in journalism in 1973 with the regional Tamil daily 'Eelanadu' then joined the Independent Newspapers Ltd in 1977 as a Sub-Editor for 'Dhinapathi' and 'Chinthamani'. He then became Chief Sub -Editor.

He also has a Certificate in Journalism (English Medium) from the Open University of Sri Lanka and is presently attached to the editorial of 'Midweek Mirror' and' The Sunday Times.
