Veteran singer Devananda Waidyasekara was recently felicitated on his 92nd birthday at the Ananda Samarakoon Studio of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC). The tribute ceremony was sponsored by AHC Group Chairman and Ambassador of Peace Dr. Nalaka Silva in honour of the veteran artiste.
Dr. Nalaka Silva stated that he would always come forward to support senior artistes generously and without hesitation. In addition to sponsoring the event, he also provided financial assistance to the singer on behalf of the AHC Group.
