La Serena celebrate ‘Avurudu’

Set against a backdrop of sea breeze and sunshine, the festivities brought together the resort’s close-knit community of 30 residents, occupying 26 units, in a celebration that was as much about tradition as it was about togetherness. The occasion saw residents enthusiastically participating in customary Avurudu rituals and games, rekindling cherished memories while creating new ones in the company of friends who have become like family.
Laughter and light-hearted competition marked the day’s activities, reflecting not only the enduring appeal of these time-honoured customs, but also the vibrant social life that defines La Serena.
