Anandian Dilain awarded Best U-13 Batsman in SSC School of Cricket’s Malaysian tour
View(s):Dilain Senehas Dissanayake, a budding cricketer from Ananda College, Colombo, was recognised as the Best Batsman of the Under-13 age category in SSC School of Cricket’s recent tour to Malaysia. Dilain, whose height for a youngster of 12-years-old, made him the first choice paceman of the touring team, interestingly impressed with the bat during the tour where SSC School of Cricket fielded four different age group teams. Dilain, also a golfer, who has competed at national junior level, made his identity as a fast-bowling all-rounder after earning the much deserved Best Batsman award. The Anandian intends to progress as a fast bowler, as well as a versatile batsman as Dilain continues to impress for his team at SSC School of Cricket.
