British play ‘Black Prince’ as ‘Pawulkana Minihek’

Sinhala stage play based on a famous British play “Black Prince” written by Scottish novelist and playwright Irish Murdoch ‘Pauwlkana Minihek’ will go on the boards at 3.30 pm and 6.45 pm. on October 19 at Punchi Theatre, Borella.
Based on the Sinhala translation by Prof. J.A.P. Jayasinghe, senior dramatist E.M.D. Upali directed the play which was produced by Jude Srimal While Sampath Perera portraying as Bradley Pearson, the protagonist, others in the cast include veteran stage stars Lakshman Mendis, Nilmini Sygera, Madani Malwaage, Jayanath Bandara, Mihiri Priyangani and Chanu Disanayaka. Musical score is composed by Theja Buddika Rodrigo.
Behind the screen Pradeep Chandrasiri as set designer, Ama Wijesekara as costume designer, stage lighting by Ranga Kariyawasam, make up by Sumedha Hewavitharana and Lakmal Ranaraja as the stage manager.
