The annual festival of the Ragama Maha Devalaya will be held throughout the day on Saturday, August 16.

The Buddha Pooja will be held at 6 am, the bathing of the statues and the Navagraha Pooja will be held at 7 am, while the milk rice offering will be at 9 am, and the deva danaya will be made at 11 am.

At 4 pm the deva pooja for Lord Vishnu and Lord Skanda Kumara will take place. The gold offering will be at 7 pm.

The temple’s caretakers said that water, electricity and vouchers for medicines will be provided to selected low-income families to offer merit to
the gods.  (Sarath Chinthaka in Wattala)
