The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) is calling for applications for the 27th Presidential Export Awards, which will be held under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in December 2025 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), it said in a media release. Applications are set to close in mid-August.

This year too, exporters are provided with the opportunity to submit their applications online via the official web portal: https://pea.edb.gov.lk. The Presidential Export Awards represent the highest national recognition conferred by the President of Sri Lanka to honor outstanding contributions made by Sri Lankan exporters to the export sector and the national economy. The awards aim to recognise and reward excellence in export performance and to motivate exporters who have rendered exceptional service towards Sri Lanka’s economic advancement.

The Presidential Export Awards program was first launched by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board in 1981. Since then, 26 award ceremonies have been successfully held.
