He is the most preferred name when it comes to epic celebrations in grand wedding here and abroad. Apart from his DJing, Ishan is now more keen on doing his original songs for Sri Lankan market.
Ishan Mutaliph popularly known as DJ Ishan released his debut single ‘Negombo’ a couple of years ago featuring Pramuk Elica with a music video and on all digital platform. ‘Negombo’ was Ishan’s maiden song as a DJ and voiced by Pramuk Elica. It was written by Sampath Fernandopulle and mix and mastering with live guitars was done by Ashan Perera, Baseline was rendered by Vikith Perera. And all these people who helped Ishan with the song are from Negombo itself.
Ishan was born and bred in Negombo and that is mainly why he named his maiden production as ‘Negombo’.
‘Negombo is where I was brought up as a child and went to school in Negombo, played cricket and represented the country with various teams, started DJing and now started producing music’ he said.
Ishan Mutaliph started his career as a professional DJ at the age of 21 with Udayanga Wijayasekara (Curzon Entertainers) with a long standing relationship of more than 13 years. Ishan has participated in premium entertainment events, conducting weddings and various other functions for discerning clients.
Driven by the passion for mixset art, love for music Ishan always offers the perfect combination to keep the dance floor with much needed energy constantly.
Ishan launches his entertainment company ‘Entertainment ID’ to fill the gap between professionalism and art. ‘Entertainment ID’ offers comprehensive entertainment solutions from Professional DJing at weddings, dances, private functions, corporate events, product launches, Discos and outdoor events.
