Teacher appointments to go ahead
View(s):Teacher appointments for those who have completed the National Colleges of Education courses will be completed by June 15, Education Minister Susil Premajayantha told Parliament this week.
The Minister explained that the total number of teachers are 7,800, and close to 350 of them are referred, or have to repeat the exam.
While they would be appointed as teachers on June 15, they would have the repeat exams within three months.
