Mahanama College thrashed traditional rivals D.S. Senanayake College to record a massive 119-run win in their 17th Battle of the Golds limited overs encounter played at the R. Premadasa Stadium yesterday. Batting first, Mahanama posted a mammoth total of 327 for 5 on the back of half centuries from Kavindu Amameth, Anjala Bandara and Inuka Karannagoda.

D.S. Senanayake, in their run chase, were bowled out for 208 runs, despite a fine knock of 124 from Gaviru Senhas.
