‘Manike Mage Sithe’ comes alive at ‘Nelum Kuluna’

Adding a new experience to the Sri Lankan entertainment landscape, the tallest self-supported structure in South Asia and the tallest skyscraper in the country, the Colombo Lotus Tower is now ready to dish out the best of world entertainment in Sri Lanka.

‘Manike Mage Sithe’, the very first musical extravaganza in the proposed International Concert series is scheduled to be held at the Colombo Lotus Tower will come alive on Friday, 7th of April at the ‘Nelum Kuluna Outdoor area from 7.00pm onwards.

The Colombo Lotus Tower – South Asia’s tallest self-supported structure and Sri Lanka’s tallest skyscraper – was established in 2012. Rising towards Colombo’s skyline the Nelum Kuluna is an iconic landmark that reflects the spirit of a nation. It was opened to the public in September 2022, drawing enthusiasts both local and foreign. During Christmas 2022 Sri Lanka Tourism has arranged some exclusive festivities including a gala Christmas fest at the Lotus Tower premises.

‘Manike Mage Sithe’ will be the very first musical extravaganza featuring cream of Sri Lanka’s showbiz celebrities performing on one stage after Covid pandemic.

‘Manike Mage with the participation of mostly by a number of trendy young artistes will feature Bathiya and Santhush (BNS), Wasthi, Dinesh Gamage, Kaizer Kaiz, Satheeshan, Kanchana Anuradi, Spun Perera, Jaya Sri, Nadeemal Perera, Ashanya Premadasa, Smokio, Nilan Hettiarachchi, Samdy Thathsarani, Sadun Perera, Dulan ARX and Hana Safa. The music backing would be by the bands ‘Journey’ and ‘Infinity’. Thus sixteen artistes would sing to the backing of two band dance groups.

‘Manike Mage Sithe’ is a presentation of Cjay Chaminda Gunerathne.

Chaminda Gunerathne is a very famous organiser of musical shows and dramas in Australia over the years, while domiciled in Brisbane, is the son in law of the spian actor Wijaya Nandasiri and Devika Mihirani has immense experience in organizing such shows .Chaminda having the brand name ‘Cjay Creation’ is teaming with two other partners QMD Creation and C Music to have more concerts in Sri Lanka before to have similar concerts overseas. Chamath Sangeeth, who is the owner of the melody and music composition of the hit song ‘Manike Mage Sithe’ has suggested this name ‘Manike Mage Sithe’ for this musical extravaganza.
