Remembering Martin: Ruk Rakaganno online tree talk
View(s):To celebrate the conservation work of Martin Wijesinghe – the sentinel of the world heritage site of Sinharaja, four renowned professors will join on an online platform to speak on their unique experiences with Martin and his passion for Sri Lanka’s flora and fauna.
‘Martin of Sinharaja’, a conversation with Professor Nimal Gunatilleke, Professor Savithri Gunatillake, Professor Sarath Kotagama and Professor Siril Wijesundara moderated by the President of Ruk Rakaganno Dushy Perera will be on Sunday, March 19 at 6 p.m.
The event will conclude with a tribute to Martin by Vimukthi Weeratunga.
