Lahiru Madusanka slams 179 n.o.
Dambulla recorded a first innings lead over Colombo when play ended on day three of the four-day National Super League encounter played at the Sooriyawewa Stadium.
Despite Roshen Silva hitting 65, Colombo resuming from their overnight score were bowled out for 257 runs.
This was in reply to Dambullla’s score of 341. Dambulla batting the second time guided by an unbeaten ton from Minod Bhanuka ended day three on 279 for 6.
In the other game, Lahiru Madusanka slammed an unbeaten 179 for Jaffna against Galle at the Galle Stadium. But his knock came too late as Galle has already taken a first innings lead in the match.
Galle who is at the top of the points table will maintain that position and are assured of a berth to the final.
