Applications called for exam to recruit graduate teachers
View(s):The Department of Examinations has called for applications for the competitive examination to recruit graduate teachers to national and provincial schools in the island.
Graduates below the age of 40 serving in any position in government service can apply for this examination, a Ministry official said. This step was taken to immediately fill the large number of vacancies currently available for GCE Advanced Level classes, he said.
After these recruitments, Provincial Councils will take measures to appoint graduates for remaining vacancies.
