Sri Lanka Cricket will initiate its latest programme ‘Gaman Maga’, or ‘Pathway’ a national development project through talented cricketers could reach the national level, today in Polonnaruwa. The programme is mainly targeted in scouting talented young cricketers from less privileged schools in the rural areas and the first stage will cover the Polonnaruwa district..

The initial programme will take place today at the Royal College ground in Polonnaruwa, where girls and boys of age categories of Under-13, 15, 19 and 23 will be screened for their abilities. The programme will follow daily at Sevanapitiya NS ground in Welikanda, Aralaganvila NS ground in Dimbulagala, Vijitha Central ground in Lankapura, Dudley Senanayake MV ground in Hingurakgoda, Madirigiriya NS ground and Bakamuna Mahaweli ground until September 24.
