Lyceum International School, Gampaha won the Under-19 Boys’ Group title at the All-Island Schools Under-19 Table Tennis Championship 2022 held at the S. Thomas’ College Sports Complex. Lyceum Gampaha beat Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala in the final to earn the deserving title.

The Director of Lyceum International School, Gampaha, Dilmi Ratnayake played a pivotal role in encouraging table tennis popularise among youngsters of the school, by promoting the sport through many activities, which eventually made the school a team to beat.

The victorious Lyceum Gampaha table tennis team comprised of Sanuth Jayasumana, Leenula Mathumsith, Chiran Dharmaratne and Mahith Jayasumana. The team was coached by former Sri Lanka national paddler Lalith Perera.
