The speaker went on to draw a clear line of distinction between the EU law and the US law under Article 102 TFEU, which enlightened the LLM students in a greater scope.

The webinar discussion was a timely given that the speaker gaged his realization upon the future of EU in-line with the current situation of the COVID pandemic said Dr Chathura who is also an Alumni of Brunel University London. The discussion also went into the abuse of dominance which played a vital role in the member discussion and then also moved to enhancing the scope of EU competition law, the Mergers and State aid. “UK commits to continue the existing approach of EU competition law, apart from in the area of subsidies, where the new rules are more open and flexible” said Dr Conway.
