A literary tribute to Dharmasiri’s cinematic journey
View(s):A book on veteran filmmaker and social activist Dharmasiri Bandaranayake- ‘Wam Iwure Thunwenna- Dharmasiri Sinamawalokanaya’-(The third in the Left end- Cinematic journey of Dharmasiri) written by film writer Jeewantha Dayananda will be released at 3 pm on September 15 at Mahaweli Centre Colombo.
Veteran actor Sanath Gunatilake, award winning actress Swarna Mallawarachchi, actor Saumya Liyanage and filmmaker Chinthana Dharmadasa are to talk on Mr. Bandaranayake’s journey as a filmaker, director of documentaries and his life. Actress Yashoda Wimaladharma will compere the event. The book, the maiden release from Nabo Publication and it is priced at Rs. 1000.
