Disabilities not a barrier for good O/L results

Students Gangadharan Bahwadharani and Madialagan Vidurshika were victims of the prolonged conflict in the north. Both of them had been confined to wheelchairs after being injured in 2009. These students from Kalaimahal Vidyalayam in Mulliyawali, Mullaitivu passed well at the G.C. E (O/L) exams last year. One of them received eight ‘A’ passes and a ‘B’ pass while the other student obtained six ‘A’ passes, one ‘B’ and two ‘C’ passes.
