Students who have obtained the required cut-off marks at the 2019 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination but have so far been unable to find Grade Six admission to a school and students who wish to change the school allocated to them on justifiable grounds, have been given an opportunity to appeal.

The Education Ministry noted that it has already released cut-off marks for Grade 6 admission to schools for 2020 based on results of the 2019 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination. These details can be obtained from the ministry’s website: www.moe.gov.lk.

Students who have the necessary qualifications but who have so far been unable to gain admission to the school of their choice as well as those wishing to change the school allocated to them on justifiable grounds can refer to the model appeal form accessible through the ministry’s website when filling out their appeal.

All appeals should be posted to the Education Director, School Administration Branch, Education Ministry, Isurupaya, Battaramulla between January 6, 2020 and January 17, 2020. (SJ)
