K.Induwera (16) 2nd at Int’l Science & Engineering Fair
View(s):K.R.R.Induwera (16), Grade 11 student at Ananda National School, Chilaw, was Runner-up at the International Science & Engineering Fair held in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, USA. He won the Runner-up prize for his discovery of bacteria that can destroy the dengue-causing mosquito larvae, but cause no harm to humans. More than 70 countries participated in the contests at the fair.
