Colombo Uni., ’67 Group award Schols to underprivileged undergrads
View(s):The Alumni Unity of the University of Colombo (UoC), in collaboration with the ’67 Group, held a ceremony to award 51 Scholarships to economically backward undergraduates, under the patronage of UoC Vice Chancellor Prof Lakshman Dissanayake, on Jan.23, at the Faculty of Arts.
This was held to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the ’67 Group and of the service of the UoC teachers. UoC Alumni Unity President T.G. Jayasinghe, General Secretary Mrs. Lanka Prasada, ’67 Group President U.A. Seneviratne, Organiser Louie Nandasena, and other Alumni members participated in this event.
