WASLAM holds sing-along tonight
View(s):The Women’s Association of Sri Lanka Malays (WASLAM) has organised a sing-along featuring Dr. Zavahir backed by the popular band Flame today, Sunday, November 26, at 7 p.m. at The British School in Colombo, as a fund raiser for their charity projects focused on the advancement of women and children.
Launched in April 2010,WASLAM recognises the valuable contribution of women to a family, the community and society at large. The association has been actively engaged in sustaining awareness on Islam, Malay and English language education, vocational training, social and cultural activities.
