“Smile thus last forever” Congress in Cosmetic Dentistry

Vice Chancellor (VC)- University of Peradeniya (UoP), Prof. Upul B. Dissnayake, addressing the Asian Regional Aesthetic Dental Congress (ARADC) – 2017, as its Chief Guest, said that, organising the ARADC was to share and update new knowledge, which should be used to fill the gap between the demand of the patient and the last treatment modalities available in Cosmetic Dentistry.
President- Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, Dr. Ronnie Yap was the Guest of Honour, while President- Global Academy of Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry Dr. Susil Koiala and Prof. R.L.Wijeweera were Special Guests. The theme of the Congress was “Smile thus last forever”. Nearly 150 local and international Dental professionals from Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Thailand Bangladesh, India, Taiwan, Philippines and Nepal participated.
Prof. Upul B. Dissanayake thanked Dr. V. Vijayakumaran and President- Sri Lanka Academy of Aesthetic & Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Ratnakumara Dissanayake for organising this type of international congress. Â VC UoP, Prof. Upul B. Dissanayake as the Chief Guest lit the traditional oil lamp at the inauguration.
