The Boss Baby in town

DreamWorks’ latest animation hit ‘The Boss Baby’ a hilariously universal story about how a new baby’s arrival impacts a family is now being screened in theatres in Colombo and its suburbs.

Another film by the director of Madagascar, it invites the filmgoers to meet one of the most unusual babies. Told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator, the film revolves around a wildly imaginative 7 year old named Tim who wears a suit, speaks with the voice and wit of Alec Baldwin.

With a sly, heart-filled message about the importance of family, ‘The Boss Baby’is an authentic and broadly appealing original comedy for all ages.

A suit-wearing briefcase-carrying baby pairs up with his seven-year old brother to stop the dastardly plot of the CEO of Puppy Co.

This computer-animated comedy is loosely based on the 2010 picture book of the same name written and illustrated by Marla Frazee. The film stars the voices of Alec Baldwin, Miles Christopher Bakshi, Steve Buscemi, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow and Tobey Maguire.

The plot follows a baby who is a secret agent in the secret war between babies and puppies.

Celebrating the festive season the film started its screenings at Majestic Cineplex, Empire Arcade, City Cinema – Mt. Lavinia and Regal Cineplex – Gampaha.
