Young film-maker Suranga Deshapriya Katugampola’s short film ‘Kunatu/Tempest’ – a story about the lives of Sri Lankans living in Verona, Italy and the oft-hidden issues they face in relation to migration, settling into a new society etc will be screened on Tuesday, August 9 at the Centre for Poverty Analysis, 29, R.G. Katugampola moved to Italy at a young age with his parents. The director of several experimental short films, he has also initiated a web-based series in 2013.
