One of the most critically-acclaimed Sinhala plays in the recent times ‘Suddek Oba Amathay’ will be staged at 7.00 pm on August 30 at Lionel Wendt theatre, Colombo. Suddek Oba Amathay won the awards for best script and best music at the State Drama Festival 2010.

Written and directed by Udayasiri Wickramarathna, the play features a veteran cast including Jayalath Manoratna, Nalin Pradeep Udawela and Madani Malwatte. The musical score is by Lalith Wickramaratna and stage management of the play is by Rohitha Jayakody and Kusal Madhuranga and is organized by Priyankara De Silva.
