Drama on madness
The latest comedy play ‘Jayasirita Pissu’ written, produced and directed by actor Sarath Kothalawala will stage its premiere shows on Friday, 4th September at 7.00 pm at the Tower Hall Theatre Maradana.
The play also will go on the boards at 3.30 pm and 6.45 pm on September 6 at the YMBA Hall, Borella. The play stars Pubudu Chathuranaga, Dharmapriya Dias, Janka Kumbukage, Saman Hemarathna, Niroshan Wijesinghe, Dimuthu Chinthaka and Sarath Kothalawala himself.
Behind the screen Wimaljith Dombagahawatta compose the music and its stage management and stage settings is handled by Premalal Liyanage and Neil Rohana Hewavitharana. Make up is handled by Saman Hemarathna while costume design is by Pushpa Samanthi Kothalawla. The lightings and sound managements of “Jayasirita Pissu” is done by Mihindu Madushanka and the play is organised by Jude Srimal. Tickets are now available at Sarasavi Book Shop-Nugegoda, Sadeepa Book Shop Borella, Salaka Senkada-Town Hall and theatre gates.
