Female teacher allegedly slaps schoolgirl seriously injuring her ear
View(s):Ahangama police arrested a female school teacher for allegedly assaulting a Grade 11 female student during school hours on Thursday.
The 42-year-old dance teacher had reportedly slapped a student for not doing her homework. According to the JMO of Karapitiya Teaching Hospital, Dr V.G.G. Perera, the ear was severely damaged due to the assault.
The victim was admitted to the ENT ward in the Karapitiya Hospital.
The lady teacher was released on Police bail.
