Reading from the Sunday Times to the audience attending the Central Bank road map forum, Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal was seen commenting on a newspaper analysis relating to the 2016 per capita income projection. While denying general newspaper reports on ‘massaged’ economic data, he expressed optimism that Sri Lanka will achieve per capita income of over US$ 4,000 by 2016.
