The Grand Oriental Hotel welcomed the festive season in style and glamour as they held their annual Christmas Cake Mixing event recently. The event is a Christmas tradition with the patronage of GOH General Manager Dulip de Alwis, Executive Chef Dudley Nanayakkara, F&B Manager Lalin Adhikari, all the departmental Heads and pastry chefs.

They all together lend their hands in mixing the cake flavours blend of the ingredients display.The mixture is then sealed and stored to be fermented for weeks prior to the baking of cake. The mixture is tended weekly to keep the flavour alive. Then on Christmas day a delectable cake is ready to be shared by all to celebrate the festivities.

Grand Oriental Hotel has lined up with Christmas Eve Dinner, Christmas Day Lunch and Christmas Day Dinner for another exciting season filled with scrumptious cuisine and all around good time @ the spectacular Harbour Room Restaurant.
