Lankans to open tri-series on June 28

The Lankan team after their encouraging show at the Champions Trophy limited over tournament in England will fly across to the West Indies to take part in the tri-series involving the West Indies and India.

The tour opener will be on Friday June 28 with hosts West Indies taking on Sri Lanka at the Sabina Park, Kingston Jamaica. On June 30 The West Indies will take on India at the same venue.

On Tuesday July 2 the Lankans will be in action for the second time — taking on India at the same venue.

Sri Lanka will not have TM Dilshan and Thissara Perera on board for the Tri-Series in the Caribbean

Action then will shift on to the Queens Park Oval Port of Spain, Trinidad for the rest of the series.

On Friday July 5 the West Indies will take on India for the second time. West Indies will then take on Sri Lanka on July 7.

The last round Robin game will be on 9 July with India playing Sri Lanka.

The first lot of matches in Jamaica will begin at 8.00pm Sri Lanka time and the matches played in Trinidad including the final will begin at 7.00pm Sri Lanka time.

The final will be played on Thursday July 11.
