Malaysia has become a destination that is highly sought after by students from Asia to do tertiary studies. The country has been able to attract many universities of international reputation to set up their own campuses and some has good twinning arrangements with excellent articulations. With such collaborations Malaysian universities are eager to upgrade quality of courses they offer especially those that have high demand in the employment market. They have obtained services of highly acclaimed academics from overseas to join the teaching staff. They have set up excellent infrastructure facilities including student accommodation to high standards expected of reputed universities. These have all made many courses offered by reputed Malaysian universities to be attractive to international students especially from Asia.

Why Study in Malaysia? Everyone wants to have the best value for money they spend. It doesn’t matter from where the degree is issued as long as it gives the required skills when seeking employment. All what employers look from a professional is the ability to do work efficiently and have potential to advance in the career ladder that would benefit their establishment. In Malaysia some of the high demand degrees could be completed at a fraction of a cost of what is required to be spent in Australia, New Zealand or UK. On top of competitive tuition fee the living costs too are comparatively low. Malaysia is so close to Sri Lanka, air travel too will not cost much enabling regular visits home.

For those seeking to graduate with a degree certificate from a university in Australia, UK or New Zealand there are excellent twinning arrangements to do so. Some of these courses have direct transfer facilities to the degree issuing university after successful completion of part of the course in Malaysia. This is another way to save valuable money on overseas studies.
