Nilukshi Wijesiri a student of Oxford College of Business (OCB) has been awarded a Bachelors Degree with a Distinction from Heriot Watt University – UK. The award of Degree with Distinction is only awarded to students who have 6 Grade A’s at Stage 3 (Degree final year). This is a very high level of achievement, which is less than 3% of all HWU graduates have achieved to date. The student is, therefore, in a small elite band of graduates, which OCB takes great pride in announcing.

The ever continuous challenge in today’s educational setting is searching for the right establishment; a place that provides the most current learning material, a panel of professional yet accessible lecturers, a sound atmosphere and value for money. I was rewarded with a combination of all the above by enrolling for the Heriot Watt University BBA program at the Oxford College of Business. “What attracted me most when researching about the available universities was the Heriott Watt ranking among all other universities in the UK.  It seemed impossible to find another institute to match it. Being one of the oldest educational institutions in the UK the rave reviews I came across gave me confidence in my selection. The course content offered to international students was very significant as many of the subjects were germane to today’s demanding corporate environment.”

“Oxford College of Business delivered my expectations to the fullest. The staff at Oxford was nothing but friendly and helpful. Our disturbances and intrusions were accommodated at all times. They were very emphatic and ready to assist at all times. The classes conducted in groups gave the opportunity for the students to obtain individual attention of the lecturers, which was invaluable.”
“I am a strong believer that studying and learning vary significantly. I was given the freedom to learn, and the encouragement to explore new areas of interest.

The variety of subjects that was available was contemporary and truly educating. I am grateful to the panel of lecturers for their time and magnanimous commitment which seemed unparalleled to others.” “A combination of the above facilitated me to achieve success. Obtaining the BBA from Heriot Watt University will no doubt strengthen the opportunities in my corporate career.”

“Dreams are only dreams if we don’t suffer to make them a reality. We have to believe in our ability to change our dreams into the stuff of reality. Today Oxford College of Business gives the opportunity to students to graduate with an internal degree from one of UK’s top 20 universities.

This was only a dream a few years ago! We should be mindful of the fact that, ultimately, what counts is not our dreams; what counts is our actions and our achievements. Nilukshi Wijesiri has shown this to the whole world with her outstanding efforts.  On behalf of the management of OCB I would like to congratulate Ms. Nilukshi Wijesiri for her outstanding efforts and wish her all the very best in pursing her ambitions” says the Managing Director at OCB.
