The Sushi Bar at Cinnamon Lakeside introduces a new Japanese delicacy in the form of a variety of Unagi dishes.
The Unagi dishes at the Sushi Bar consist of freshwater eels prepared in a variety of traditional concepts. Fresh water eels are a long standing Japanese delicacy consumed during the hottest times of the year, as they are high in vitamins and proteins.

It is thought that the nutrition of Unagi increases the stamina when consumed and is eaten to increase energy levels during hot months. The Japanese have been consuming Unagi for centuries starting off for medicinal purposes. Freshwater eel is now consumed heavily for its extraordinary flavours.

This month’s Unagi dishes include the popular Unagi Kabayaki, which is grilled freshwater eel with a sweet basting sauce. Grilled Unagi a popular river eel delicacy in Japan, is grilled to perfection before being covered in a sweet sauce and finished off on the grill.

Another popular dish Unagi Maki is the traditional sushi roll, consisting of grilled Unagi and Avocado rolled in Japanese sticky rice. The selection of Unagi dishes is wide at the Sushi Bar with a variety of flavours captured in each dish. Explore the flavours of the Unagi Tempura with a perfect light and crispy batter that tantalizes those taste buds.
With a selection of other Unagi dishes on offer the Sushi Bar is open daily from 12.00pm to 10.00pm to dispense these unique flavours.
