St. Peter’s stun St. Anthony’s

St. Peter’s made a gallant fight back, probably an effort they will remember for a while to record a stunning 31-22 win against St. Anthony’s Katugastota in their Under-20 Schools League Division I A rugby match played at Nittawela.

The Peterites were given e major shock when the Eagles took charge of the first half and gained a dominating 22-5 lead. But St. Peter’s with their undying attitude managed to block the Antonians from scoring while adding 26 points in the process. St. Peter’s scored from five tries and three conversions while St. Anthony’s scored from four tries and a conversion.
